Hey everyone Derek told me I needed to write a blog about what is going on to date. We have confirmed a wedding date for April 17th, 2009 at the Maui Westin. We are having the ceremony and the reception in the Aloha Pavillion at the Westin hotel, where there are beautiful waterfalls, lush gardens and the beach very close by. I have finally bought a dress and it is very beautiful. We are currently working on the details of the ceremony, cake, flowers, that sort of thing, but we will keep you all posted. Hey hows it going? So, the site is up and we've been adding to our registry almost daily now. Jen's still pretty picky on what goes up on there, so I'm sure she'll trump my selections sooner or later. I put a lot of cooking stuff on there. Been really getting into it lately which you would know if you read my other blog (www.derekwarner.net). So I'll get Jen to post up an update on here too.
I'm hooked on this show on food network called "Good Eats". The Chef Alton Brown is a lot more interesting than any other cooks on food network, mostly because he also gets into the gadgets that you need to have to cook well, and also the science and history behind the food so you can understand cooking more.
I have a little gadget wishlist on Amazon.com. Some good stuff on there!
